Seniors
The senior team played in the final of the Tipperary cup last Saturday against Neasden
Gaels but failed to add it to the previous weeks Conway cup win after going down by
a score of 0-8 to 1-8.
Going in at half time the Gaels were leading 0-7 to 0-2 against the wind and seemed
to be on course for victory but a second half collapse let in Neasden who deservedly
went on to win the game.
The Club would like to wish Keith Morrow and Martin Sweeney speedy recoveries
after getting injured in Saturday’s game.
This Sunday we start out on the road to retaining the Championship with a testing
match against a vastly improved St Kiernan’s in Ruislip. Check website and local
papers for throw in time.
London Junior’s
Hard luck to club players Stefan Carr and JP O’Donnell who played for the losing
London Junior team against Lancashire last Sunday in Birmingham. The boys got
beat by a score line of 0-17 to 1-7 with JP scoring 0-4.
